Hi

USE OF PRIMAVERA PCM WITH AN EXCEL SPREADSHEET AND HYPERLINKS

My company is using Primavera PCM for document transmittal between sites and head office locations.

I am trying to set up a project management spread sheet for a number of sites.

The spreadsheet is using an excel format with hyperlinks. The hyperlinks link to other files containing drawings, documents etc.

The hyperlinked files are updated regularly with revised drawings etc.

I am attaching a snapshot of the spreadsheet. The sites are down the left-hand side. The information for each site along the top. The boxes are all hyperlinked to other files.

I am told that I cannot do this inside PCM.

I need to set up this facility someway.

It does not appear to be a major technical issue so I am looking for solutions.

Please advise.

Hi peakpilgrim and welcome to our forums:

:welcome:

As this looks to be an issue on a business arrangement, it's maybe be well outside this site's "Terms of Use"

Here's an extract from them for info:

We offer free computer help and tech support for home and personal use. We are not here to support others that work for profit, or to support/replace your company's IT department.

Link to terms of Use: http://www.geekstogo...tion=boardrules

It might be best to ask your firm's IT department for assistance, or use external consultants who service your company's IT needs.

Sorry we cannot help on this one.

Regards
