Hello. This is my first time, my question is, my father is very hard if hearing and is also blind. The issue is getting headphones so he can listen to the tv at his volume but not blast everyone else out of the room. I have bought tv headphones from Radio Shack and they worked ok, and then I thought of bluetooth headphones. I need something with high volume. The tv is a older one and has RCA PLUGS. Please help. You would be better to ask the question of an audiologist tbh, it wouldn't be right for anyone her to suggest something that could potentially do more harm than good.

Thank you for your post, he has gone to a audiologist and a ear, nose and throat Dr. And because of him being 91 his ears are old. I'm just hoping there is a was of increasing the volume on any headsets that work of the tv. Thanks.

My concern was that anything too powerful may cause problems such as headaches etc and audiologist specialists will often have recommended outlets for such equipment.

 

What you are asking though can be achieved by using an appropriate 3.5mm to RCA Stereo Audio Cable Adapter, I suspect that you may be in the US while I am in the UK but below are a couple of example links for you to look at, you can then shop around local to you for what you require.
