Hello,

I'm completely out-of-my-depth in a data visualization class that has provided minimal direction for an assignment to compile interactive maps. I have GitHub repositories and folders properly set up and have succeeded in creating a map in geojson.io; however, I can't for the life of me figure out how to follow #2 below:

1) Prepare your polygon file in GeoJSON format. View or modify the GeoJSON file properties (such as name, data fields, etc.) with one of these tools:

2) In your GitHub repo, click to open the Geometry subfolder, then click Upload Files, drag-and-drop your geojson file, and Commit changes.

Clicking "Save" to GEOjson brings up another window full of code vs. allowing me to save a file. Trying to "Open" GitHub brings up a window with all my GitHub folders but there's no way to save the GEOjson file to any of them.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Kim
