Hi, I have a Sony Vaio, model VPCEA23FB (Intel Core i3 330M), which is quite old but it is still working fine. On the other hand, a Vostro 3450 (i7, used to be quite faster before... broken HD, battery and monitor) . Is it possible to remove the processor of the Vostro and use it in the Vaio?  I don't know if there might be  any bios, motherboard or  other issue that prohibits this.

Thank you very much!

Hello green&yellow,

Not compatible I`m afraid + the i3 330M CPUs are the ball grid array type that are soldered in place so unless you are an expert with a soldering iron would mean that upgrading the CPU would not be a financially viable option.

Some info at the attached links for you;
