I have a brand new HP Pavilion 510-p010z  running Windows 10 Home  64 bit.  On the front of the computer are 2 standard USB ports and one very strange looking port that is more narrow than the USB ports and about twice? as long........what the heck is it?  Here is a photo:

it looks like a memory card reader to me, used for reading data stored on these :- https://www.amazon.c...ds=memory cards

memory cards are usually used in cameras and phones, so you'd just simply take them out of those devices and plug them into that slot to easily copy the data stored on them to your computer.
