Problem with PC plug / malware

Hey there !
My computer (Lenevo G500)logically selfs disconnects from plug, and when i disconnect it and reconnect it phisically it works again but for few moments and disconnects ataumatically again.. it keeps repeating this until the battery dies. could it be a malware or its a hardware problem ? THANK YOU !

Classic signs of overheating, couple of questions if I may;

 

How old is the notebook.

When (if ever) was the last time the inside of the computer was cleaned out of heat trapping dust

When you try and start up the notebook can you hear the internal cooling fan spinning at all..
