Hello,

First of all, I want to say that it has been a couple of years since i have visited geekstogo.com site and it's forums. My apologies too that i don't remember how things work here, being that it has been a long time that i have visited.

I use a Gateway computer with Windows 10 installed. The Browsers i use are Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and sometimes Google Chrome.

To the subject at hand... I go online often, and one in-particular website i visit often is a toy collecting site called He-man.org

Other than this website i visit online, every other websites i go to work fine or i have access to them all except for this one site.

As of yesterday, May 4, when i would try to access the he-man.org website, i would get redirected to a website called http://ogurl.co/hI and get the following message: Application Error. An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. If you are the application owner, check your logs for details.

I don't believe that i am the application owner and that is if that's what's it's saying/asking.

Also I checked to see if the website he-man.org was down or it was just me thru the website called, http://www.downforev...neorjustme.com/It turns out that it's up and running and i'm the one with the issue.

Out of curiosity would this happen to be a malware issue? If so i have done a couple of scans on my computer and there where zero results.

I hope that someone can help me thru the process of trying to get the issue fix. Hopefully it will be a simple fix (wishful hoping)

Lastly, i have attached a picture file of the website that i'm getting and is supposed to be the he-man site.

Looking forward from hearing from someone soon.

Take care. :spoton:

I am getting the same redirect so it's not you.  I think either the site has been hacked or misprogrammed.

I  did an nslookup and got

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    he-man.org
Address:  66.135.33.146

This is an address that is controlled by ServerBeach hosting service

You might contact the owner of the hosting service

[email protected]

or

[email protected]

and ask them to notify the website's admin that the site is being redirected. I suspect it's probably a programming typo error as there is a meta tag that starts out with og:url.

Hi

Thanks for replying back.

I wanted to give sorta an update to the he-man.org website being redirected. Before i came here to geekstogo.com forums to reply, i went ahead and visited the site i'm having issues with. Now instead of http://ogurl.co/hI site coming out with the Application Error message, it now redirects to http://getgiftcards.org/79330/website. Would this still be considered the same type of programming typo error or similar to it?

I have provided a picture of the he-man.org site being redirected to the getgiftcards.org site.

As for contacting the admin of the site, i will go ahead and do that soon.

Thank you. Talk to you soon.

Now it's a full blown hijack.  Apparently before there was an error in the hijack code which has now been fixed.

RKinner,

I have another small update here with the redirecting/hijack issue. The website he-man.org is now already up and running on 2 of my 3 internet browsers. That being Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome. However over at FireFox, the site is kind of there, but incomplete with no graphics, pictures, etc. Does that mean the site will eventually come back cause it's kind of there now??

What I also find weird about the whole entire situation is that when I for curiosity sake tried to get into he-man.org thru my android cell phone, I there too was redirected to http://getgiftcards.org/79330/

Either way, this is what's currently going on. Half good, other half not so good I suppose.

Here's one more picture of how the he-man.org site looks currently on FireFox.

Hope to hear from you.

The site works OK with my Firefox now.  (and with Chrome & IE).  Is it still not working in Firefox?  Perhaps you need to clear the cache:
