Microsoft (Hotmail support) and FB support are going to be the only ones to really be able to answer anything with regards to restoring something deleted that long ago. when you use an app (or web browser) to access either of these services, the messages don't actually get transferred/downloaded to the phone. the app is just showing them to you on the host server (Hotmail or fb for example). when you delete something, there's not going to be anything recoverable on the phone, as you didn't delete anything from the phone, you just told the server to delete it so that's where it would have to be recovered from.
