Hello,

I have a Windows 10 computer consisting of 3 drives: 1 SSD + 2 HDD.

Recently, while using a network share to stream videos from my computer to Kodi the stream started buffering like [bleep].

After a short investigation I noticed that the computer's file system became very slow.

At first I thought that one of the HDD was nearing it's end of life but then I inserted a flash drive to delete a file from it and even that was very slow.

I tried all the known tricks for improving HDD speed like increasing the page file size and shutting down the windows search service but nothing helps.

Just to clarify, when copying a file in the HDD the average speed is between 500Kbs - 3Mbs.

I also ran some HDD checks and they seem to be without any errors.

This issue just came out of the blue and it seems to be a Windows issue and not an HDD issue, does anyone have any idea what can solve this?

Thanks!
