I've got an old LG Glance phone (model number is LG-VX7100), and I can't copy pictures from it onto my computer. When I connect it to my computer with a USB cable, I don't have any options to access it.

I'm not able to send them to a phone number, because the phone is no longer in service.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Plug in the LG

Search for:

device manager

hit Enter.

View, Show Hidden Devices.

Do you see any yellow flagged devices?

Right click on one and select properties then click on the Details tab.  Change Property to Hardware IDs.  Click on the top one then right click and copy.  Paste that into a reply.  Repeat for all yellow flagged devices.

While in device manager, unplug the LG

Do you see something change?

(the LG must be turned on and it probably wants you to log in if it's password protected)

Search for

devices

hit Enter.

Do you see your LG?  Right click on it and select properties then hardware.  What does it say?

Under the "General" tab when I click on properties, it says the device is working properly.

The hardware ID for it is USB\VID_1004&PID_6000_DIAGInterface

Please ensure you have downloaded the driver, enabled the USB,  after plugging in, select "USB Mass Storage" when prompted pn the phone. If you still can't transfer files, you can try to use Android Transfer tool to help.

The easiest way to transfer pictures from your LG phone to computer is using Android assistant program.Download the program on computer and connect your device to computer via USB,the program will list all files ,you can choose the wanted files to export.
