My first problem is that every time I reboot - Spy Sheriff - reinstalls itself. (I go in to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall it - but it just re-installs on reboot.)
My second problem is that it has put a blue desktop with a black box in the center with the following: "System has been stopped due to a serious malfunction. spyware activity has been detected. It is recommended to use spyware removal tool to prevent data loss. Do not use computer before all spyware has been removed."

I would appreciate any help you can give me! I am a pretty good computer person. This is the second time this week I have had to deal with something my husband downloaded. I was able to fix the smitfraud.c problem yesterday - something that also hijacked my desktop plus my icons, etc - but this one has got me stumped!
