hi

we are planing to provide internet for a labor camp where there is 1000+ people are staying. i will explain the following  challenges below

 

there are 18 building with 9 meter width and 100 meter length

there is not wired connection so there is only solution is sim card routers.

not advisable to provide the passwords of each routers to the labors because they will share with others

 so what i have done i have installed 4 access points each building and connected each point in  one room, bought 50 wifi routers  those routers connected with 2  21 port switches and this switch connected to the firwall for load balancing.

but the internet speed  is lesser than getting from direct router.

when i connect my LAPTOP to direct to the router i am getting 15 MBPS speed(no any other user)

but when i am connecting the firewall with my laptop i am getting 8 MBPS speed only

 

so anybody can help me with it. i am not an IT guy i have friend who helped me to do this all.

If the last line means that connecting via the Wifi is much slower than the direct connection then you probably need to adjust the channel assignments on your routers.  The default is Auto which never seems to work.  Most likely all the routers are set to the same channel and interfering with each other.  There is a nice program called inssider which will show you what channels are in use and tell you if there is interference.

If connecting up the firewall cuts the speed in half then make sure your firewall is capable of 15 MBS.  What is the make and model?

 

Also check that you do not have a duplex mismatch.  Not so common these days - most equipment uses Auto but it's possible to set one end at Auto and the other at Full and you will just get half duplex.
