Ok, please run the following

  • Important - Save it to your desktop.
  • Doubleclick CKScanner.exe (Right click and "Run as administrator" in Vista/Win7).
  • Give permission if necessary, and click Search For Files.
  • After a very short time, when the cursor hourglass disappears, click Save List To File.

Hi Hocuspokus

One or more of the identified issues may be a result of downloading cracked/pirated/illegal software. Participating in the use of such software is a security risk. We do not approve of nor support illegal software.

Malware authors promote and release cracked software to spread malware. I strongly recommend you refrain from participating in this activity; your computer will be re-exposed to malware otherwise. Simply visiting a cracked software site often result in exposure to malware. In some instances malware may cause so much damage to your system that removal is not possible and the only option is to reformat your hard drive and reinstall your Operating System.

I am prepared to continue providing assistance as long as you agree to remove all cracked software immediately.

I will require you to uninstall

Adobe Media Encoder CC 2017
Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017

Then run ckscanner again and post results.

Your should be able to uninstall the programs though Programs and Features.

To do this:
Please go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a program or Programs and Features
In the list of installed programs locate and click on the program to uninstall e.g. Adobe media encoder CC 2017

Hi Hocuspokus

Ok. we will leave them be.

Advisory - Utorrent

As long as you are using any form of Peer-to-Peer networking and downloading files from non-documented sources, you can expect infestations of malware to occur.

Once upon a time, P2P file sharing was fairly safe. This is no longer true. P2P programs form a direct conduit inside your computer, their security measures are easily circumvented, and malware writers are increasingly exploiting them to spread their wares on to your computer. If your P2P program is not configured correctly, your computer may also be sharing more files than you realize. There have been cases where people's passwords, address books and other personal, private, and financial details have been exposed to a file sharing network by a badly configured program.

Please read these short reports on the dangers of peer-2-peer programs and file sharing.

Risks of Peer to Peer systems
P2P programs: Popular and perilous

If you continue to use P2P programs it is likely that you will get infected again.

I would recommend that you uninstall uTorrent, however that choice is up to you. If you choose to do this, you can do so by:
  • Please go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features for Windows 7 and Vista. Add or Remove Programs for win XP.
  • Click on uTorrent.
  • Click uninstall.
If you decide to keep the programs in spite of the risks involved, do not use them until I have finished cleaning your computer and have given you the all clear.

Step1 - FRST fix
