I get this "PDF file is not readable with Acrobat Reader" message when I try to open PDF file. I was able to open the file with no trouble before with the help of Acrobat Reader.
Does anyone know what this message is or why it is occurring?

Hello Cellison,

Try going to https://www.computer...es/ch001285.htm and seeing if anything there helps you. In particular, click on the PDF icon near the top of the page and check whether it opens okay.

Do you have another computer you can test one of the files on to see if it will open there? Maybe a friend would try to open one of the files for you.

You said that you were able to open PDF files 'before'. Can you think of any changes which might have been made to your computer around the time that the files stopped opening?

Chris.
