Hi, not sure how I contracted this virus but it is slowly destroying my computer. I've removed almost everything else besides these last few things. So far SVCMX.client and whatever is causing me not to be able to run other programs because "The requested resource is in use".

I have already run FRST. But I am unable to run any other virus removal tool.

Attached File  FRST.txt   48.66KB   646 downloads

Please help, this is making me want to rip my hair out.

Thanks

Hello,

It's a rootkit infection. Lets try to remove it with Malwarebytes Anti rootkit.

Follow instructions here

https://forums.malwa...t-malwarebytes/

If it does not run, try it in safe mode. If that has trouble open the MBAR folder on the desktop and try running it from there.

I ran the MBAR a little while ago but it totally froze after about an hour. Then my computer shut down. After that fiasco I tried to run it again and was approached by the same "Requested resource" problem. I will run it again and get back to you on what happens. Also forgot to mention that when it froze the program said it had found 2336 malware. RIP me

Hello,

That's correct a "lot" of Malware gets installed that's why Malwarebytes Anti rootkit has a difficult time with this infection it wasn't necessarily designed to remove so much malware.

Keep trying it, also it may appear to freeze and go into a non responding state just let it sit there possibly for over an hour. If you're getting the "Requested resource in use" error then try re-naming Malwarebytes Anti rootkit to test.exe. You can also try running Malwareytes Anti rootkit directly from the folder that was created on the desktop.

In the mean time I'll make a fix with Farber recovery scan tool and see if we can budge anything.
