This is what my Win 7 64 bit with 16GB RAM  is set to:

If you have 16 GB try changing yours to look like mine.

I have 12278mb, but the Maximum Memory box is unticked, do you want me to tick the box and enter 12278mb or leave it blank?

Are you talking about the msconfig or the Performance Options that I just posted?  Leave the MSconfig like it is but change the Performance Options to look like mine.  Make sure you check the Programs button.  You can make the Virtual Memory the same as mine.  The idea is to make it about the same size as your total  RAM but more doesn't hurt anything.  Just wastes some disk space.

I've just changed adjust perfromance to 'Programs'

But I need clarification where to put 16gb because I see two memory boxes here in my Advanced Performance Options.

NB: Still seeing "Error This upload failed" trying to upload attachments to G2G, so posting in box.com.

Changed Advanced Performance Options. Disabled Network Adaptor.
Didn't do speed test, but as soon as I launched ProcessExplorer, noticed atleast 100 Pagefaults that grew every second.
Here's a Latency Monitor log of that, without usbdeview open:

 REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.

Process with highest pagefault count:                 taskhost.exe

Total number of hard pagefaults                       104

Safely Remove notifier didn't speed up and usb speedtests didn't improve, so I've changed Advanced Perfrmance Options back to what they were to benefit audio production.

Would rather you kept them where they were as your changes make no sense to me.  Did it really impact Audio?

I looked it up again on google, it seems that it's an outdated and possibly unnecessary tweak.

I will adjust it to how you advised.

I just think that if something is reliable and isn't causing a problem, I don't want to change it unless it improves something.

I am trying to get your system back to a standard config with no unknowns.  You may not think so but the last Latency Monitor log was the best we have seen so far.

What does Latency Monitor look like now if you do not disable the network adapter when running a USB speed test?  What network adapter are you using?

DPC routines are part of the interrupt servicing dispatch mechanism and disable the possibility for a process to utilize the CPU while it is interrupted until the DPC has finished execution.

 REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

Process with highest pagefault count:                 none

Total number of hard pagefaults                       0
Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process:          0
Number of processes hit:                              0

Looks like we don't need to replace the network driver.  With it set up this way it appears to work nicely.

Move the USB drive around and repeat the test with it plugged into different ports.  See if there are any ports that don't do well.

I did see some red warning about network adaptor, but the speedtest didn't start at same time as latency monitor, so I had to cancel.

Then I did the speed tests around 6 usb ports.

I still can't attach any files , can we please deal with this attachment error "This upload failed".
