Windows 7 randomly stops working

Thanks, I did uninstall McAfee so is there more to do to completely remove it?

 

 

Did you use the method that was suggested.
 
Windows was re-installed at the computer shop not that long ago, 

 

 

Speccy shows that Windows was installed over a year ago so you should have more and recent updates than what are showing;

do I need to do it again?

 

 

Always a last resort and nothing to suggest that it will be required or would solve anything.
 
Before posting back, see if you are able to fully update Windows, because it is shown to be so far out of date it could take a while.
 
Create a new system restore point then download and install the convenience update from here
