I have got a Dell inspiron 5559 laptop with one external monitor connected. I believe that this laptop won't support TWO external monitors which I now need to do my work. The screen of the laptop is too small to do my work. So I would like to buy a desktop tower that will support two monitors. What are the basic requirements needed in the desktop tower to run two monitors - each showing a different document or photo?

Lesrail,

For documents and photos only, nothing major as by todays standards many desktop computers have more than one video port, two appropriate video cables, two screens and the ability to be able to extend the screens within Windows is about all that you should need.
An example computer here has a VGA port + a Display Port 1.2.
Please note that for editing videos or gaming I would always recommend the addition of a separate video card.
