Hi,I purchased a Dell E5420 Latitude refurbished about 5 years ago for around £250 and while it is still going strong I am thinking about getting a new laptop.

I am not very tech savvy and was hoping some of you experienced users would be able to give me some recommendations if you have the time?

I am not a gamer and only use my laptop for things like : web surfing,e-mail,printing,playing my guitar, video converting, watching movies and downloading.

I would like the new laptop to support windows 10 as while my current lappy runs it win10 is not supported on my model.

I would like at least 8gb of Ram and a more powerful and faster processor than my current i5-2520m.

I would also like an HD 1920X1080 display.

It also has to have an HDMI port to connect to tv and usb 2.0 and 3.0 ports.

A DVD Writer is a must and I would like high quality sound.

I am hoping to pick up another refurbished laptop for maybe £200-£350.

If anyone can recommend some uptodatish laptops with these features that would be grand?

Try for ASUS PC. I bought this one few months back. 1TB HDD with 4GB Ram and 2 years warranty Core-i-3.

Are you sure that you are going able to get all of that thing with only around 400 dollars? 8 GB RAM is not possible at least you want to stick with AMD processor or you could go with I3 processor, but with 4 or 6 GB RAM.

Hi,I intend to buy a refurbished laptop.....I'm not really sure if I'll be able to get all that but I might increase my budget if needs be.
