Hello,

I need to install a piece of software, but was told that I should not install the Windows updates beforehand.  Unfortunately they have already downloaded.  How can I reboot (which I need to do to finish installing the software) WITHOUT installing the downloaded Windows updates?

Many thanks in advance!

You could disable Windows update, but i do not really recommend it.  You could go to the control panel and then administrative tools, there you can access the service. Just find wuauserv and then disable the process.
