Windows update last night now nothing working

Seems to be a problem with edge. Nothing will open to internet. Opened IE and it worked, but any shortcuts with edge won't open. Trying system restore now

Is Edge selected as your default browser, if yes, see below;

 

To see if this is a Windows issue download then run the Windows All in One Repair (free)  from here, disregard the malware guidance but follow the other steps to the letter and in particular ensuring that you first create a new restore point and perform a proper Windows clean boot before running the repair, details for the clean boot here.

It says Edge on top then IE under that, Tried to open Edge, but nothing happened

Started to clean boot, but a box popped up that said something about not restarting before I was done so I clicked no. Now msconfig won't come back
