I hope it is OK to post this question here.

 

I have been a regular user of Serif's Craft Artist (Digital Scrapbooking software) for some time. I have a large collection of Serif's digital scrapbook kits i.e. themed image collections, which are stored on my PC as .pack files (a zip format exclusive to Serif). The .pack files, when loaded in the software, display in specific area such as backgrounds, frames, embellishments, materials etc. 

 

It is easy enough to export images one at a time from Craft Artist, as individual jpg or png files, to use in other software, but each kit can contain hundreds of images which rules out the one-by-one approach. I do have a method of unzipping the .pack files, but this is resulting in a single 'images' folder containing .wdp files, with many duplicates of different sizes. I am currently changing the file extension from .pack to .zip and then using Windows to Extract All contents. This results in a number of folders named backgrounds, frames etc. which all contain a number of .xml files, apart from an 'images' folder which contains the kit images as .wdp files. The problem of all the duplicates of varying sizes, I presume, is that the Craft Artist software contains many preview areas and thumbnails?

 

So my question to you guys is this. How can I 'unzip' a .pack file and end up with just the full size images (as jpg and/or png files) in their appropriate category/folders i.e. backgrounds, frames, embellishments etc.? This will enable me to access and store my kits more easily as i move away from Craft Artist into other software such as Elements.
