Hi all,

I have an interesting problem for which I've been unable to find a solution.

At my work, we have a program we use that has a built in IE browser. Whenever you click a link, it opens a new IE browser window outside of the application (just a normal IE window). I do most of my work in Mozilla, which is also set to my default browser, so I end up juggling two different browsers throughout the day.

I'd like to know if anyone has heard of a way to force new window commands from IE to open in Firefox instead. I found this nifty little registry edit, and while it adds the "Open in Firefox" option to my right click menu, clicking the link doesn't actually work. I used this a few years ago and it worked, but at some point I guess Microsoft made a change so it doesn't work anymore.

Any ideas you have would be appreciated. Thanks!

Tim

I probably should have mentioned, this is in Windows 7. Firefox version 52.2.1, IE Version 11.0.9600.18738.

Thanks!
