after moving video from phone to sd card it can't be viewed

I move some video's from phone storage to the micro sd card then tried viewing them and the phone said it was unable to play them. I tried to find a way to move them back but couldn't. How can I save these vids so they can be viewed again. This happened on a samsung galaxy phone. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!
