I have a strange bug with my EVGA 58X SLI motherboard and Intel i7 920 CPU where if I OC the CPU my computer timer changes. Game animations, music, and dialogue all speed up super quickly. This makes games impossible to play and puts me at a risk for speed hacking in online games.

Extra info:
(The OC is recognised on startup before Windows boots, but after the Windows boot CPU-Z and computer properties don't seem to recognise the change.)

My OC was an attempt to bring it to 3.6 ghz from its stock 2.67ghz

:welcome:   Azaze11o,

Other than trying to help when overclocking has gone wrong and damaged the hardware it is not an area that we touch upon on at GTG, a specialist forum such as Overclock would be your best bet and starting with the guide here

With increasing voltages etc there comes risk and especially on older hardware, good luck and be careful not to overcook it
