Good afternoon Geeks to go.
I work with an unemployed resource centre, providing digital media fun days with children and young people from disadvantaged families and areas.
We have 10 PC laptops
HP Pavilion Gaming Notebooks - https://www.box.co.u...na_1856748.html
We have come into £2000 to try to bring the Oculus Rift experience to kids. I have tried someone's Oculus on the laptop and even though it worked, the rendering was very slow.
We have a 3D animation software package for kids, Muvizu. The software allows for Oculus rift to be plugged in and you can see your own build 3D world and character through it in real-time.
I know that it's not much of a budget, but is there anything I can do to bring the laptops up to scratch to make them Oculus rift ready?
I think I already know the answer is going to be 'no'. But I just thought I would throw it out there.
Here is a link to a video made this summer be some kids using the software. The video can also be rendered out in 360 degree.
