Hi, I have an Acer Aspire T-180 with a AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core. It is slow and I would like to know if I can use a faster CPU.

The answer to the question of whether or not you can use a faster CPU is almost always yes, but sometimes depending on the internal configuration of your current hardware, the question is whether or not a faster CPU will actually make any difference or be compatible with your setup.

I would suggest figuring out the internal specs and seeing what exists that's compatible with what you have, though most often it's easier to buy a new computer.
