Hello, i am new here and need help. I am not techy at all so please be patient. I have a problem, when i go into google search (i am not signed in & location switched off), at the bottom the page, it states "SE2,according to your internet address" This is 12 miles from where i am located. Has my phone been hacked? I have changed my google passwords but still the same issue. I use samsung internet.

All devices in my home say the same. Could it be the location of my ISP server? Or could my internet address been hacked?

Is it to do with 'Geo location'? I have never visited that postcode.

Hi CamH, and welcome to our forums.

:welcome:

IP addresses, can be resolved, but without intensive forensic investigation  it is unlikely to provide a more precise location... your figure of 12 miles in a highly populated area of a large capital city is well within the expected range.

It is usually the ISPs location that is used using the sort of tools available to most folks.

Regards
