Try with winrar or 7 zip. But if is real damaged you can check the link with information that can help you solve this problem: https://www.fixtoolbox.com/zipfix.html Go to the full post »

After upgrading my PC to Windows 10 i cannot extract the .ZIP files with the help of WinZIP. I get 'File Path: Either multipart or corrupt ZIP archive' error message.

Any ideas would be gratefully received

Hi gambLe09, and welcome to our forums.

:welcome:

Win10 has built in support for opening .zip files, so if you double click on a .zip file it should open.

Regards

Hi paws,

With all due with respect but I have not been able to unzip winzip files at all.  But how ever I do use a software called hamster zip archiver.  Works really well, just have to make sure you don't install the crap that it suggests.
