hi, every time i try to boot pc i go straight to asrock uefi setup utility, ive tried all the function buttons, save and quit, dont save and quit, clear cmos etc and evry time i go straight back to setup utility, please help

Sounds like the computer can no longer access the hard drive (or SSD) so that it can boot up an operating system. With nothing to boot, it has no other option available bu to go into the built-in CMOS/BIOS Setup utility (which is in a chip on the motherboard). If it's a desktop computer, make sure the cable(s) to the hard drive are connected securely. Might also want to remove and replace them a few times to make sure the connections are clean. If it's a laptop, remove and reinsert the hard drive a few times to clean the contacts. Now try to boot it up. If still nothing, check to see if the hard drive is listed in the CMOS/BIOS (UEFI) Setup. If not, there is a problem recognizing the hard drive ... and hate to say it but it could even be a dead hard drive. Unfortunately they do not last forever.

thank you for posting info, ive gone through every thing again, and it looks like a new hard drive   thanks again.
