So, since August of last year, my laptop continually drops the wifi and refused to reconnect unless restarted.

First, this only happens on my school wifi or my apartment wifi (while in the dorms last year, I just used an Ethernet cable, not an option in the apartment).

There is no rhyme or reason, sometimes it happens after 5 minutes, sometimes after a few hours. Every time, if I try to reconnect, the wifi bars go away, show the computer icon with a red x for a few seconds, then says 'cannot connect to this network'.

It actually did this as I was troubleshooting. I attempted to do this troubleshooting as recommended else where on the forums "Part 1: Disable IEEE 802.1X Authentication" but I couldn't find that as an option anywhere.

I did run a connectivity test as suggested here, see results below.

I am running Windows 10 on an Asus F555L, and can get more specs if needed.

Any help would be much appreciated!! Would love to be able to do online homework without restarting 5 times.
