I bought a XPS 8700 in mid 2013. From then to now I have replaced the SSD and HDD with no problems. Now I want to rebuild/replace as many components just to make it a little faster.  One thing I forgot to do was change the boot sequence. Not remembering this I reassembled

and got nothing.

I had 32 GB Ram change to 16, removed CPU cleaned replaced, pulled all SATA cables from SATA Header. I was told to connect the CD/DVD

to the 0 port and connect the SSD to the # 2 port. connect power and load the OS,sad.  No good

:welcome:   Fred1960,

Can you post a list of all of the new parts that your are using, brand and model name or number of each.

Can you also tell us what exactly is happening when you are trying to boot up, are you getting a BIOS or Dell splash screen at all or an on screen message saying "no signal" as a couple of examples.
