From your OP;

I have run Malware full scan and Kaspersky full scan

Malwarebytes v3 and the v2 that you have also tried are both AV programs that like Kaspersky offer real-time protection, do you still have both programs on your computer.

I used malwarebytes scan which deletes all and installs v3. I did have v2 and it used to run ok, kept prompting to update but i ignored it.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here,  this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

Edit to add:

I used malwarebytes scan which deletes all and installs v3. I did have v2 and it used to run ok

Was asking if you had both MBAM premium and Kaspersky AV on your computer, you mentioned doing a full scan with both programs in your OP.

A quick look at Speccy tells us that you have two AV programs installed and it is highly likely that this is the cause of your troubles, in case you are not aware, having two AVs causes conflicts such as slowing down and crashing + it can actually leave you with no protection should the programs cancel each other out.

Is MBAM Premium the 14 day free trial and is Kaspersky a paid for product, either way one of them has to go, will go back to your Speccy report to see if there is anything else untoward.

They are both paid for versions. Strange as they were getting along ok up till a few weeks ago when the problem started. I suppose MBAM would have to be the one to go?

See tutorial here courtesy of admin and in particular the warning in red.

What I would suggest seeing as they are both paid for products, you have tried running Kaspersky on it`s own and had no problems, make sure that you have your Kaspersky licence key written down and stored somewhere safe then uninstall the program using the uninstaller tool from here restart the computer and test, if you have no problems running MBAM then decide which program you wish to keep, at least this way you will at least be able to make sure that you are sticking with a stable AV product and not one that could start causing you the same lag and problems with Windows.

Only other thing of note is that you are getting near the limit with how much free storage space is on the C: drive, it should not be allowed to go less than 25% free if at all possible, the lower the storage space is allowed to go the higher the chances that Windows will become corrupt.

What is shown to be on your computer;

Running: Kaspersky Anti-Virus Service 17.0.0
Running: Kaspersky Secure Connection Service 1.0.0
Running: Malwarebytes Service
Running: Windows Firewall

Stopped: Kaspersky Anti-Virus Service 16.0.1

Post a link to the two programs that you purchased for us so that we can take a look, want to be certain that both programs are indeed intended to offer real time protection and that one is not just a Firewall.

Was aware of what the products are but was hoping to see what you had actually downloaded, no matter as the main concern was with Kaspersky and making sure that it provided full real time protection, the review here says that it does, continue with the uninstalling of Kaspersky and testing if you will please.

Just a quick reminder, don`t forget to make sure that you have your Kaspersky licence key secure before uninstalling it.
