Hi there everyone. So i installed my sims 4 again but now it keeps on giving me a msg i dont understand. It throws it oit maybe 20 times but eventually gies into game to play but stops working after 30 min. The msg goes as follow... The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.... So everytimei just say okay bacause its the only option so it goes on for about 20 times and more but eventually goes into the game but after 30min it kicks me out. Please any advice what it means

It means that one of the files the game needs, which is named "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll", has not been installed on your computer for some reason. It then goes on to say "Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".

Sims 4 ypu have to go in with origin to play it. So i found the file with that name in origin application but it doesnt give me the option to re install or uninstall it sents me to internet and to download a file so i did save it but still nothing. Should i uninstall origin then and install again?

Try renaming "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" to something like "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll.renamed" the try re-installing Sim 4. Hopefully it will see that there is no "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" file available on your computer and install it in the correct place for you.

 

If that also fails, try uninstalling Sims 4 and Origin(?), reboot, then try installing them in the correct order once again.

hi everyone and when I downloading my game I install it and try to launch it but couldn't because the error said that I'm missing ts4.exe I didn't know I have to have that on my laptop I tried finding it but couldn't I don't know what to do please help me I don't know what to do.
