Hello!  I hope someone can help me.  In the past 2 days, AVG and Malwarebytes are notifying me (with popups) that outgoing connection to a site has been blocked due to this trojan.

I spoke to an AVG tech who did a complete scan remotely of my system and said it was perfectly clean.  I advised him that it was only popping up when I was on Chrome ... nothing happens on Firefox or Edge.  He suggested I uninstall Chrome and reinstall ... did that ... it is still being affected!

 

I really don't know how to get rid of it.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

• Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
• Press Scan button.
• It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
• Please copy and paste log back here.
• The first time the tool is run it generates another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST.exe/FRST64.exe). Please also paste that along with the FRST.txt into your reply.

If it is left in my system, what would happen?  Can it communicate with another site ... what could happen to my laptop?

As far as can see the web site conhive is infected an Malwarebytes is blocking the site because the web site maybe infected.
