Why only between Crucial and Adata.

What if any other brands have you found, got any links to RAM that you are considering so we can take a look.

Crucial guarantee compatibility or your money back whereas Adata do not, one good reason to purchase from Crucial imo.

Is crucial good or nah?

I currently have a 4 gig adata, but there is not much of anything to do with them and I am looking at an 8 gig crucial ram for my laptop.  Kingston is expensive here something like $139, the adata is 119 and the crucial is 86 for 8 gigs.  But I don't want a crappy ram stick, I want something that is really good and good quality, but not too expensive.

As per my reply #2, our free assistance is meant to be two way, you help us to help you, tech stores will tell you that the appropriate hardware that they have in stock or that gains them the maximum profit on resale is the best and least expensive, give us something to work with and we may be able to give you an educated answer!

You are welcome and a good choice sticking with Crucial, nothing wrong with certain other brands but they don`t always offer your cash back if their RAM turns out to be incompatible  :(

That`s a bit like the AMD vs Intel and Radeon Vs Nvidea debates, there really is no solid answer, what works great for you may not work for others, have actually seen more than one member RMA their new MB because their RAM would not work in it but the RAM would work in another computer when tested, it most often turns out that the RAM that they have purchased is not on the MBs QVL (qualified vendors list) which lists RAM and CPUs etc that have been tested and proven to be compatible with the said MB.

Funny enough I have changed to Intel as well and I was an intel person but I have found intel is a little more faster than AMD, and I was all for AMD for years.

I have been finding so far that the ram is working well with my laptop and I have already installed it in.  I always like to research before getting it cause one thing that I have always known it pays to research before you buy, and if you cannot find decent information get it from sites like this.
