Hi,I purchased a new HP Pavilion laptop that has windows 10 home edition installed and activated.

I had used to have windows 10 pro edition installed in my old laptop via the free upgrade from windows 7 pro so I didn't think it would cost anything to upgrade from home to pro on my new one.

I went to upgrade to pro edition through the windows store but they wanted £110 to upgrade so I didn't bother.

What are the differences between the two editions that make the pro edition better?

Hi,

Thanks for the helpful link,

I won't bother upgrading as I don't need those features.
