Hey guys,

been having issues for the past 3-4 days.

I think it all started when Chrome turned very slow and Not Responding .

Uninstalled it and reinstalled it to no avail.

At one point I launched Chrome and instantly got a BSOD.

Switch to IE, also very slow, 1-2 days and again BSOD.

Now I'm using Firefox, more stable, however I did get a BSOD in the past 15 hours. And it's behaving extremely slow too.

Minidump files are attached.

Thanks in advance!

Right after posting the above, I opened a tab in Firefox and got a BSOD.

Restarted the laptop, launched Firefox and got a BSOD.

:welcome:   gnn,

Malwarebytes is implicated in all three crashes, namely PROCESS_NAME:  MBAMService.ex.

If you have the paid for version of MBAM, make sure that you have your licence key written down, uninstall MBAM and test, if the free or 14 day trial version, uninstall and test.

Tip

Do not reply to your own OP or last reply as it may lead to your request for help being overlooked, staff and members who assist on the forums will always check out a topic that has not received any replies to see if they are able to help, if you reply to your own OP it will appear to others viewing the board that you have received a reply and so are already being helped.

Edit to add: Got an early start tomorrow and it is getting late here so going offline now, will check back tomorrow after work UK pm time, that should give you plenty of time to test the computer.

Bullseye!

No more BSOD, thanks so much!!

Malwarebytes was a paid version that I've had for many years, and has worked very well up until now...so would like to re-install it if possible.

Do you have any suggestions?

Contact them and ask for help?

By the way, can I send you money or a gift?

Thanks again!

Apologies for the late reply, high winds here so no internet for a while  :(

Try running the computer without MBAM installed, make sure that everything is fully updated, create a new system restore point, restart the computer, download MBAM, test and let us know how it goes please.

By the way, can I send you money or a gift?
Thanks again!

Thank you for the kind thought but really not necessary, being able to help is reward enough and you are most welcome  :)
