Along the top of CPU-Z window are several options.  Click on Bench.  You should get something like:

After running the bench mark test hit Submit and Compare.

 

It should open your default browser and show you some info.  Copy the URL and paste it into a reply.

On the right side you will see your  numbers. 

Click on the number to the right of Single Thread.

It will open a new page of all of the CPUs that it knows.  Scroll down to the bottom.  If it knows any similar CPUs to your s you will see them highlighted.

But as far as I can tell your numbers are about right for your CPU.

second day I'm trying to make CPU-Z to work, i.e.  the  Submit and Compare button is grayed out. What can be done ?

It's called Re-run the assessment in your version of Windows.

 

In CPU-Z try rerunning the Bench test then see if the button gets ungrayed

Go in to the Safe Mode Menu again and select “Enable Boot Logging” then boot normally.

 

Find the boot log (ntbtlog.txt) in C:\Windows and post it

The last boot was clean.  Looked normal.  What ever is happening is loading after the boot. 

 

Let's see if Process Monitor still works on XP:

 

download Process Monitor https://live.sysinte...com/Procmon.exe
Save it to your desktop then run it.

 

If it works, As soon as it starts, File, then uncheck Capture Events.  Once it stops,

then under Options, click Enable Boot Logging.  Close Process Monitor and reboot.

Open Process Monitor and it should tell you it has a boot log for you to look at.

Let it show you the file then

Then File, Save, All Events, Format: PML (should be the default)  then OK.  It should save the file to logfile.pml which should be on your desktop.  Close Process Monitor.

 

The problem now is that the file is huge (and the forum won't let you attach files that big) so you will need to upload it to a file sharing service and then give me the link.
