I have forgotten how to use MS Paint to reduce the size of an image and then print it in a desired format?  FWIW my PC is W10, my email is Yahoo Mail. I don't see how to tell what version of Paint I have; it is a very early one for sure. 

• I obtained the photo as a downloaded email attachment and see that it carries the name IMG_0519.jpg.
• When I open Paint and then go to File\Open\IMG_0519.jpg, I do get the image. 
• When I print it, I get an large (8.5 x 11 inch) version.

What do I do to get, say, a 2" x 3" printout?

With the pic open in MSPaint, click the Menu icon, select Print > Page Setup then in the Scaling section, use the Adjust to: (some percentage of normal size) to get it the size you want it on paper. When you get it like yiou like t, click OK. Now do a [Ctrl][P] to print, select your printer, and click Print.

 

Note that this is with the MSPaint in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. If you have a different version, the exact keystrokes/mouse clicks may vary but the idea is the same.

BTW, one can tell the version number by clicking File\About Paint. Mine is ver 1703. .... bkar

• In MS Paint on this computer, there is no word "File" to click. It's just a little, what I call, a Menu icon near the top left. (See screenshot below)

   

   

• If I click that Menu icon, then select About Paint it shows the version of Windows that's running. (See screenshot below).
