I recently  upgraded from Windows XPPro to Windows 7.  When I first tried the PC using Firefox it all seemed normal, but when another update was done, Firefox Start Page changed.  First of all the page showed tiles of my frequently used sites and this was done automatically in accordance with the frequency and titles of the sites visited.  This all occurred about three weeks ago,.  Now yesterday night another update was done in the background and when I turned on my pc this morning i noticed that the firefox no longer does this.  Instead there are no  tiles unless I visit a sight and by clicking the "+" in the "New Tab " so automatic creation of tabs no longer goes on.  I worry over what might happen with another update.  Any advice?

Windows OS always creates system restore point before installing new updates so you can restore your system if new updates causes problems.
