I have been having some issues with my desktop, it has been going really slow and I have used cleaner to clean out some of the junk files but nothing worked.

Give these steps first try (restart laptop after each step)

1) Do de fragmentation of your pc/laptop (every drive)

2) Give your pc a full scan with a good antivirus

3) Update that antivirus

After doing these steps if you still find your PC/Laptop working slow try removing unwanted files and folders from C Drive, because its the main drive from which PC/Laptop reads the windows execution.

Also try removing programs from startup.
