This window popped up about a week ago and never goes away. If i try and click start icon it freezes and this window re-appears. I've tried to go back to a restore point when going to the diagnostics page of windows 10 with crl/alt/dlt and then shift-power button. This failed and have tried to use windows self scanning to try and resolve problem but still exists. I've seen some chatter on the search about windows 8 and vista but not windows 10. I downloaded the free version of windows that microsoft pushed out after staring at the message that kept popping up about free upgrade for about 4 months, now starting to regret it.
Any help appreciated. Windows internet explorer doesnt work, but i have firefox installed on this computer so can install certain softwares short term if need be to help fix the issue. We have pulled all of the important files off of the computer onto an external drive that isn't connected now to this computer so if a large restore is needed or can be done then i'm all ears.
Thanks again
