Had to restart explorer.exe     Now everything works.............Crazy computers. Go to the full post »

When I log on, laptop shows a blank screen with no icons. The taskbar at bottom is showing and the programs work. When I start in Safe Mode the icons appear on desktop. Any suggestions are welcomed in this matter.  Thanks

Hello shajoe44,

 

Have you tried using a system restore point that is before the time and date that this first happened.
