Dear Phill, Darrin,

Please excuse my not being in contact sooner, beyond my control I'm afraid, this is the first time since my last post that I have been able to use a PC, due to a relapse in my condition.

Forgive me gentlemen, but due to the current instability in my condition I must call a halt to this project of ours.

Please, do not think that for one moment I consider this a failure on anyone's part, I have learned so much from you both that I can not begin to express my thanks.  I came into this knowing absolutely nothing about the current process for programming PCs, and I go away having had what I consider to be an accelerated master class, in the process, I have gained valuable tools, both physical and practical, I have increased my concentration levels and my physical endurance (though it almost killed me), and in that it has assisted my recovery.

If it were possible to contact you both privately to express my thanks it would be appreciated.

To anyone else who has the same problem with a PC then the information that they find here is I believe the best that there is, Darrin, I still believe that you should turn this into a guide.

Phill, thanks again for your time, consideration and patience.

I shall continue to visit the site, not because I have anything to offer, but due to the quality of the information, and the individuals who post, and give their time to helping individuals like me, complete novices, and computer illiterates.

Again, many, many thanks, and long may you and this site continue.

My best regards

Jim

Hi Jim,

Very sorry to hear that health has gotten much worse. If you get feeling better come back and we can hopefully help you finish getting everything working. You are welcome to PM me if you would like. Take care and best of luck with your health issues.

Darrin
