Now see if the if you can do the following 

 

It is under The Operations menu on left side its called "Check File System" Select Check and Fix detected errors and provide a picture of output

Okay lets Format next. Select Format partition. This is probably not necessary but we are going to make sure it is formatted.

clicked ok, nothing indicating that its working, still dont have  the Check file system

lower left side of screen  beneath show partitions 

it shows operations pending,   is it waiting for an instruction, as to me pending is the same as waiting

Okay select apply to all operations and wait for it to finish.

Select Yes. It is plugged in isnt it. This is all I can do for the day. Tom can hopefully get Windows installed or you are welcome to try on your own with the links I provided earlier.

its just come up as all changes applied successfully

still dont have the check file system option
