I am a little confused by this step.

Do I take ownership with the new account?

Select this object type: User

From this location: leave as is

Enter the object name to select: Webcache

click ok?

You can make Administrators or your current user the owner.  Either will work.

Sorry for the delay, I was really unsure of what I was doing; but I believe I have full control.

There are two files with locks on them in the webcache folder:

V01.chk

WebCacheV01.dat

Thanks for you patience

Alexa

Does VEW show Windows still complaining about

WebCacheV01.dat?

Are they still locked when you log in with the new user?

IF it's still causing problems then we want to delete WebCacheV01.dat

A service process other than the one launched by the Service Control Manager connected when starting the NVIDIA Streamer Service service.  The Service Control Manager launched process 2228 and process 2736 connected instead.    Note that if this service is configured to start under a debugger, this behavior is expected.

The WebCache folder never showed itself under the new account. I went back to the old account where I could see the folder and file and claimed ownership there. Was this correct?

thanks

Sounds right.  Don't see it in complaining in VEW now.  Is it any faster?
