You do not need to buy a disk if you already have a licensed copy of Win 10 on the computer. It can be downloaded from the following link and then you can create either USB or DVD. Once you have that you can either Reset your existing copy, Reinstall or perform a Clean install

Wish it were that simple. But like i said, nobody willing to help me from another pc.  I now have frienimies (friends / enemies)  somebody on another tech forum said maybe go to an internet cafe and get the iso and set it up from there, hmmm? But dont you think an install disk "would" work? Even if pc has it installed

Yes internet cafe should work. Why don't you think an install disk will work. Once you have that you can either Reset your existing copy, Reinstall or perform a Clean install

Ive never been to net cafe. How can one insert flash drive there? Or need to ask?  Yes, this would save me ton of heartache shipping to asus or send to local repair shop

I sound like broken record when i say buying an install disk would help me reset or repair...but if i run into scenario where the pc rejects the disk from reset, reinstall or other issue, it would be a costly faulty mistake, and im cool with that. But then again, i might send pc to asus- if the internet cafe idea is a bust

I have not used one for a very long time, but usually you just need to bring your own USB drive then you can create the disk as the link shows that I have provided. There should not be any reason the computer will not work with the disk if setup properly. Let us know if any questions.

Its really surprising that, when i had bsod, i was able to regain access..bsod is a major issue. While acct corruption isnt...right? I was certain this wouldnt take too much effort. But i was wrong.  Well i guess you can say acct corruption combined with no boot is a major issue. Still hanging onto hope though

It all depends on the issues.

i post update: i took the pc in for a diagnostic to local shop, seeing iam getting nowhere on this forum and the other 3 tech forums. Everyone gives me what seems like probable and lucrative hints, that doesnt nessesarily "fix" my problem. Dont get me wrong here, iam grateful for all the help! Even though i may sound like i have big chip on shoulders. Im a man of action. I want things resolved within a set amount of time according to my daily schedule. The diagnostic is free. The shop would agree to create a recovery media for me for only 10.00- seeing the recovery media i created somehow didnt do its job

Essentially, asus x540sa model is a piece of crap . never buy a pc that is on sale for less than 300 dollars.  This year alone, i ran into 3 resets, bsod and 4 times acct corruption. Welcome to my complex world

update

The repair shop couldnt do it. They suggested i ship off to asus which the cost isnt too much for both shipping and resetting.  Im going to try ask bestbuy and see what they say about install disk option. "Just exploring all kinds of options"
