Any reason SVCHost should be using 100mb+ in a day, other than updates? this just started happening I think, wondering if there's a way I can see why it's using so much data

Fixed; was apparently an issue with windows update. A while back my computer was updating but wouldn't finish, I forced it to shut down. Started it again and I believe that's when it started... Go to the full post »

Fixed; was apparently an issue with windows update. A while back my computer was updating but wouldn't finish, I forced it to shut down. Started it again and I believe that's when it started using all the bandwidth.
Fixed it by going to System Configuration and disabling wauaserv, and anything saying windows update, stopping all of the same and restarted the computer.
