I currently have NBN internet and the modem router is placed in the front lounge room and want to make the wifi signal stronger

in the back of the house in the living area. The wifi bars on my mobile are about 2 in the living area but thinking this should be full strength?

The way I am looking at making better wifi in the living area would be purchase an acess point to connect to the powerline adaptor behind the tv

and also add a gigabit switch, would this set up be suitable?

I also have a powerline adaptor connected from the router modem and other powerline adaptor is behind the tv in living area.

Look forward to your replies.

Yes it sounds like that would be a good idea. Since you already have the powerline adapters you could connect one there and test the speeds of the network to make sure they are sufficient. I am not sure what access point you are looking at, but you can also just use a router as an access point.

I am sorry I dont understand your exact question. Those look like good options. I usually dont recommend spending the extra money on the 500mbps because it is just marketing. Real world you probably only get 40-70mbps through any of them. Again the access point looks really good, but you can also buy a router and turn it into a simple access point. I prefer Asus or Netgear. Althought the one you are looking at is business grade if thst is what you want it looks good. The follow link is a good site for information on routers, router charts, etc.

Another better option over powerline is MoCA if you have coax cable going to that part of the house.
